Salary: $92,000 - 132,000 per year Requirements: We require an associate degree, technical training certificate, or an equivalent mix of education and hands-on experience. We need at least 4 years of experience supporting enterprise-scale or datacenter-level IT environments. We expect practical experience with Windows Server 2016 and later, as well as Linux operating systems. We require experience administering Active Directory and other enterprise Microsoft technologies. We need experience working with VMware virtualization platforms. We expect experience with backup and recovery processes, system patching, monitoring, and performance tuning. We require prior experience in federal, regulated, or compliance-focused environments. We need familiarity with datacenter physical security tools and applications. We expect working knowledge of DCIM tools and datacenter infrastructure management. We value basic scripting or programming exposure in PowerShell, Visual Basic .NET, or C#. We require strong troubleshooting ability and the capacity to solve highly complex technical issues independently. We need demonstrated leadership skills and experience guiding technical projects. We expect strong communication skills across written, verbal, and presentation formats. We prefer candidates who can work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: We provide Tier III system administration support for enterprise Windows and Linux environments. We administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux operating systems. We manage Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DNS, DHCP, and related identity services. We support virtualization environments such as VMware and Hyper-V. We perform patching, system monitoring, performance optimization, and resource tuning. We manage backup and recovery operations for enterprise data operations centers. We implement system hardening and maintain compliance with STIGs, security baselines, and federal requirements. We support hardware and software upgrades, operational configurations, and lifecycle activities. We use datacenter physical security tools and applications to support secure operations. We work with DCIM tools to monitor and manage datacenter infrastructure. We create and maintain documentation such as SOPs, configurations, change records, and project materials. We coordinate with Network, Security, and Datacenter teams to resolve complex incidents and issues. We deliver Tier II and Tier III escalation support and mentor junior support staff. We lead and contribute to enterprise IT projects and shared-services datacenter efforts. We serve as a subject matter expert on enterprise datacenter technologies and solutions. We communicate clearly across departments through documentation, discussions, and presentations.
