Staff Software Engineer - Scala

📋 Description Design, develop, and maintain Scala/Akka trading system on Kubernetes in the cloud Architect, deploy, and manage backend services in Kubernetes for scalability Implement and enhance trading services architecture for modularity Develop distributed systems for high-performance, low-latency trading Implement monitoring and logging to track backend performance in real time Integrate backend with market data feeds for timely, accurate data 🎯 Requirements Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 8+ years building reactive, distributed near real-time apps in high-performance environments 5+ years Scala (or JVM-based) backend development Familiarity with functional programming principles Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform experience for scalability/availability CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent 🎁 Benefits Generous PTO 7 Paid Holidays + 5 Conditional Holidays annually 1 Service Day annually 401k with 3.5% company match Health, Vision, Dental Coverage Life and Disability Insurance 100% covered
