Staff / Principal Software Engineer – 5G Standalone Core

📋 Description Hybrid role in Berlin; hands-on 5G SA core design and ops. Architect, design and run cloud-native core network software. Own 5G roaming signaling and interworking end-to-end. Deploy and operate the 5G core at scale on AWS and Kubernetes. Set technical direction; mentor engineers and raise standards. Troubleshoot complex telecom issues across the stack. 🎯 Requirements Deep 5G SA core expertise; core specs, signaling protocols, roaming. Cloud-native networking, service mesh, observability. Hands-on software engineering; AI-agentic workflows. Proficiency in C++, Go, or Java; strong software development across stacks. Experience with AWS and Kubernetes; large-scale infra deployment. Proven experience running telecom services at scale in production. Bonus: IoT/M2M connectivity or MVNO/MNO core ops.
