About the role
Define and deliver the roadmap for managed Kubernetes and Slurm services, focusing on GPU workloads.
Salary: $118000 - 156000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. We are looking for 7+ years of product management experience in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, HPC, or developer platform products. We need strong hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, Slurm, or comparable orchestration and scheduling platforms, including GPU scheduling, resource allocation, and multi-tenant separation. We expect experience shaping product strategy and roadmaps for platform or infrastructure offerings at scale. We need a solid technical foundation with the ability to partner effectively with engineering on cluster lifecycle management, control plane reliability, API architecture, and distributed systems. We value experience with AI/ML infrastructure, including training workloads, inference serving, and GPU resource efficiency. We look for a proven record of delivering developer- and operator-focused products with measurable gains in reliability, adoption, or operational effectiveness. We expect experience collaborating across cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, in a fast-moving environment. We require excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical ideas to varied audiences. Responsibilities: We will define and deliver the roadmap for managed Kubernetes, managed Slurm services, SUNK, and Run:ai integration. We will own the full cluster lifecycle, including provisioning, configuration, upgrades, scaling, high availability, and decommissioning. We will build scheduling and resource management capabilities for GPU workloads, including quotas, fair-share policies, multi-tenant isolation, and priority handling. We will coordinate integration between orchestration services and core infrastructure components such as networking, storage, identity, observability, and billing. We will establish service-level objectives for control plane reliability, job scheduling latency, cluster availability, and upgrade stability. We will design APIs, CLI tools, and user interface workflows that support self-service cluster administration and workload operations.
