Sr Staff AI/ML Engineer, Signal Processing

Salary: $90000 - 130000 per year Requirements: We need a bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or another closely related discipline. We require 8+ years of experience in AI or a related field. We look for a strong foundation in software engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. We expect solid expertise in signal processing theory and practical application, including radar, communications, electronic warfare, sonar, audio, or biomedical domains. We value hands-on experience with modern AI methods such as computer vision, deep learning, and reinforcement learning. We need proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. We look for experience developing with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or Keras. We value experience using Python libraries such as NumPy, OpenCV, scikit-learn, pandas, and SciPy. We prefer experience applying machine learning and deep learning to signal processing use cases. We value broad exposure to AI across multiple business lines and customer programs in a large enterprise or government environment. We expect strong self-motivation, a solid work ethic, and effective time management. We need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences. Responsibilities: We develop and apply AI technologies to solve complex signal processing challenges and deliver innovative solutions. We contribute across the full system development lifecycle, including requirements definition, system and software design, implementation, integration, and flight test. We take ownership of critical assignments and lead technical teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. We provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers to help strengthen their capabilities. We collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and deploy AI-enabled solutions. We explain complex technical ideas and solution concepts to non-technical stakeholders. We work with other teams across our organization to identify opportunities for AI adoption and broader application. We support proposal and whitepaper development to help secure funding for AI research and development initiatives.
