Senior AI/Machine Learning Engineer

Salary: $95000 - 138000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline, plus at least 5 years of professional experience; alternatively, we accept a masters degree with 3 years of experience. We look for substantial experience applying machine learning methods to business challenges, including natural language processing, deep learning, anomaly detection, and reinforcement learning. We require hands-on programming experience with Python, TypeScript, or compiled languages such as C++ and Golang. We expect experience in software development and the use of sound software engineering practices. We require strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities. We value proven problem-solving skills and a business-oriented mindset. We need excellent communication skills to understand business needs and explain the value of AI-driven solutions. We require the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and help move projects to completion. We require candidates to be U.S. citizens. Responsibilities: We partner with business stakeholders to uncover opportunities and design AI-powered solutions. We build statistical and machine learning models to address complex business and engineering problems. We deploy AI capabilities and manage initiatives through to successful completion. We apply best-in-class practices from machine learning and software engineering. We create knowledge resources that share best practices with other AI and data science teams. We meet with data science leaders to share guidance and discuss proven methods. We collaborate across functions to rapidly test ideas during discovery and advance them into actionable projects. We lead the AI Consulting portfolio within our Artificial Intelligence Center.
