Senior Software Engineer, Star UI

Salary: $99000 - 143000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or a closely related field. We are looking for experience with JavaScript or TypeScript. We need hands-on experience with Angular, React, or Node. We expect a solid working knowledge of Git. We value experience using DevOps tools such as Docker or Podman, Kubernetes or Helm, or CI/CD platforms like GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins. We seek a strong foundation in artificial intelligence and software development. We prefer expertise in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. We need familiarity with concurrency, including threading and multiprocessing, as well as I/O concepts such as block storage, networking, and databases. We are looking for a candidate who can take on technical leadership responsibilities and mentor junior engineers. Responsibilities: We develop software products that apply artificial intelligence to deliver advanced capabilities to our customers. We participate across the full system development lifecycle, from requirements definition and design through implementation, integration, and flight testing. We contribute to proof-of-concept efforts, prototype development, demonstrator builds, and the transition of solutions into production. We write code using modern computer science principles to solve complex technical problems and deliver innovative outcomes. We work with concurrent programming approaches, including threaded and multiprocessing models, along with I/O components such as block storage, networks, and databases. We provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers when needed. We collaborate closely with team members in a fast-moving, agile environment to mature solutions rapidly. We help drive the development of small, innovative, and high-impact AI initiatives.
