Salary: CHF 100'0 - 120'000 per year Requirements: • 5+ years of experience building and operating production-grade backend systems in high-scale or mission-critical environments • Strong proficiency in Go (or another modern backend language) and experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), containers, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code • Experience working with messaging and communication technologies such as Kafka, gRPC, Protobuf, Kinesis, or similar • Background in FinTech, WealthTech, Banking, Payments, Trading, or other regulated environments is highly desirable Responsibilities: • Join a small, highly experienced engineering team building the next generation of wealth management technology for one of the world's largest financial markets • Design, build, and operate backend services and distributed systems that power core product functionality, financial operations, and customer-facing experiences • Own services end-to-end, from architecture and database design to infrastructure, deployment, observability, and production support • Build event-driven systems and integrations connecting banks, financial providers, identity verification services, and internal platforms • Work closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to solve complex financial challenges while leveraging modern AI tools and cloud-native technologies Technologies: AI AWS Backend CI/CD Cloud CTO Support Kafka gRPC microservices Golang Python TypeScript More: Our client is an ambitious WealthTech startup based in São Paulo, founded by experienced technology leaders who have previously built and scaled some of Latin America's most successful technology companies - e.g. you can work side by side with the former CTO of Nubank.
