Software Programmer

Salary: $72,000 - 112,000 per year Requirements: 10+ years of software development experience across the full SDLC. 5+ years of State Government experience. 5+ years of Power BI experience. 5+ years of OnBase experience. 5+ years of development, design, and coding experience with HTML, JQuery, Jscript, and VB. 5+ years of experience with Agile methodology. 5+ years of experience with SQL and SSIS. Bachelors degree in a technical or related field. Ability to communicate effectively with IT professionals at levels ranging from peers to directors. Strong initiative and self-starting ability, with a proactive approach to identifying and communicating process improvements. Ability to manage concurrent tasks, collaborate effectively, provide strong customer service, and respond attentively to customer tickets. Ability to prioritize issues of varying severity and resolve them within accepted service levels. Preferred: Hands-on knowledge of business processes. Preferred: Familiarity with EDMS fundamentals and design. Preferred: Hands-on experience with cloud-based solutions. Preferred: Relevant industry certifications, including Microsoft, Power Platform, or Project Management certifications. Responsibilities: Participate in Power BI and OnBase implementations, including developing content type models, workflows, templates, reports, dashboards, analytics, data transformations, components, and user permissions. Analyze existing programs and define logic for new systems; develop procedures, prepare flowcharts, code, and test or debug programs. Prepare system and programming documentation for approval, configure system settings, and create specifications that meet business requirements. Plan and conduct unit, integration, and acceptance testing. Assist with application deployments to Dev, QA, and Production environments, including migrations. Follow secure web programming and deployment practices, coding standards, unit test coverage, automation, and continuous integration practices. Collaborate with our team or vendors on site architecture, performance, reliability, and content delivery. Troubleshoot customer issues related to backup configuration and recovery, recommend technical solutions, and develop workarounds when appropriate. Perform equipment and software upgrades and stay familiar with current computer and network products. Mentor junior developers and promote adherence to information security guidelines. Share feedback on product issues, enhancements, and new features. Manage multiple activities, provide periodic stakeholder updates, and work with peers and management to resolve client issues. Prioritize and resolve issues within accepted service levels, maintain Helpdesk information, and provide timely status updates. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
