Software Engineer

Salary: $115000 - 128000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in engineering or a related technical discipline. We are looking for up to 4 years of experience in controls engineering, automation, or material handling systems. We prefer experience with or exposure to Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI platforms such as Wonderware Aveva Edge or comparable systems. We value knowledge of industrial automation tools, networking protocols, and commissioning methods. We need someone who can travel extensively, around 85-90%, and work flexible hours as project demands change. We are seeking strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a willingness to learn and adapt in dynamic environments. Responsibilities: We will have you assist with PLC programming, HMI development, and commissioning for automated material handling systems. We will rely on you to support project scope, schedules, deliverables, and testing activities throughout the project lifecycle. We need you to work closely with internal engineering teams, customers, and external partners to help ensure successful system implementation. We will expect you to create and maintain technical documentation, including QA/QC materials and test plans. We will have you take part in system testing, troubleshooting, customer training, and post-installation support.
