Software Engineer

Salary: $84000 - 121000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in C++ or strong object-oriented programming skills in languages such as Java or C#. Capability to obtain and sustain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship is mandatory. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain high-performance C++ software for radar modeling, including scene modeling, signal construction, processing, and radar control components. Actively engage in design and code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to promote a culture of continuous improvement and elevate our product quality. Work closely with team leads to transform customer requirements into actionable Agile tasks, and take part in sprint planning, story breakdowns, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives. Validate and evaluate software modifications through regression testing to ensure that changes achieve the intended system performance. Analyze system-level data to build confidence before providing solutions to customers and downstream teams. Enhance and update legacy codebases by applying and advocating for software engineering best practices. Support automation, regression testing, and enhance tooling efforts.
