Software Development Engineer in Test, Verifications

Salary: $100,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements: We bring proven experience designing and implementing automated test suites for complex systems, with a strong focus on microservices and publish-subscribe architectures. We have hands-on experience using AI to improve testing speed and effectiveness. We demonstrate strong problem-solving ability and excellent attention to detail. We are proficient in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Golang. We communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across software development and Operations Engineering. We have experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support efficient delivery. We are familiar with infrastructure and environment management tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. We have experience mentoring junior colleagues in testing practices and strategy. We are comfortable working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or equivalent Azure services. Responsibilities: We design, develop, and maintain end-to-end and integration automated test suites for complex systems, with emphasis on microservices and publish-subscribe architectures. We partner with software development and Operations Engineering to strengthen and sustain a robust test infrastructure that supports efficient delivery. We identify manual test cases that should be automated to streamline the testing process. We work with stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into detailed test plans and automated test cases. We report on test suites and ensure they are integrated into pipelines to provide clear visibility into status and performance metrics. We apply testing pyramid best practices to achieve broad coverage across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. We coordinate and prioritise testing needs across multiple teams and stakeholders to align effort and resources. We participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and testability.
