Software Development Engineer, ECS

Salary: $77,000 - 105,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience. We need 2+ years of non-internship experience in design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling, for new and existing systems. We require experience programming in at least one software development language. Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Preferred: A bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent background. Responsibilities: Build a customer-focused experience by keeping customer needs at the center of our work. Solve challenging problems with practical, elegant code. Design, build, deploy, and own scalable, resilient systems from well-defined requirements through delivery. Help run a public AWS service, including on-call participation and improvements to operational health. Use data to inform decisions and validate assumptions. Contribute to architecture and technical direction for features, growing into a broader engineering voice over time. Develop project plans and commitments and deliver consistently against them.
