Software Development Engineer, Alexa Connections

Salary: $81000 - 110000 per year Requirements: 3+ years of professional software development experience outside of internships 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including patterns for reliability and scale Proficiency in at least one programming language 3+ years of experience across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build pipelines, testing, and operations Bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification Responsibilities: Design and build large-scale agentic AI systems that support Alexa communications features Develop and scale real-time Agentic AI solutions for next-generation communication experiences Partner with product, science, design, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions Ensure strong data quality and availability across the systems we build Evaluate and introduce new technologies that improve our Alexa systems Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members Design architecture for advanced AI systems and integrate them into Alexas core experience Maintain a high standard for customer experience and solution quality Technologies: AI Support Machine Learning More: We are the Alexa Connections team, working to make Alexa+ the worlds most trusted connection assistant for getting things done and creating moments of joy.
