SOC Software Integration Test Engineer

Salary: $71000 - 85000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering; other related engineering degrees may also be considered. We look for at least 2 years of experience in software development and testing with C or C++. We require a minimum of 4 years of experience in software integration within Linux environments, including Yocto and/or QNX. We require at least 2 years of experience in Android AOSP software integration. We require a minimum of 4 years of experience with test automation tools such as Robot Framework, ECU-Test, or similar solutions. We require at least 3 years of experience designing and setting up automated test benches. We look for solid knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR or Classic AUTOSAR. We require familiarity with Vector tools such as CANoe and CANcase, or dSPACE equipment. We expect the ability to analyze and reconfigure restbus simulation. We require good knowledge of Python and CMake. We require strong bash scripting skills. We look for familiarity with CI automation tools such as TeamCity and Jenkins. We require good knowledge of systemd. We expect familiarity with Google Test or another unit testing framework. We look for knowledge of static code analysis tools such as Parasoft, SonarQube, or Polyspace. We require knowledge of embedded Linux software for automotive applications, especially in areas such as instrument clusters, infotainment, multimedia, navigation, and FOTA. We value familiarity with rapid prototyping and board bring-up. We require knowledge of hardware interfaces such as CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, Bluetooth, and USB. We look for strong initiative, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work effectively in a diverse team. We require strong documentation habits and good communication skills. We expect the ability to interface with application software developers, vehicle integration teams, and validation engineering organizations. We require availability to work on site at our Stellantis office full time when project needs call for it. Responsibilities: We maintain test benches as part of the software integration and testing team. We design BVT (Build Verification Test) cases for QNX, Linux, and Android-based vehicle software. We focus on system stability and root cause analysis of issues, rather than full functional testing. We debug running Linux, QNX, and Android systems using tools such as shell, adb, gdb, valgrind, and logging systems like DLT. We contribute to embedded software development and testing activities. We work with automated testing frameworks and automated test bench environments. We support software integration and validation efforts across application software, vehicle integration, and engineering teams. We document software behavior and testing outcomes clearly. We collaborate in a hands-on technical role within a diverse automotive software team.
