Cybersecurity Engineer

Salary: $71000 - 81000 per year Requirements: Experience working with ISO/SAE 21434 or similar automotive cybersecurity standards Proven ability to conduct cybersecurity gap assessments and identify remediation needs Hands-on experience performing Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) Familiarity with security goals, cybersecurity requirements, architecture considerations, and validation or verification evidence Ability to map evidence and work products to compliance requirements Strong stakeholder management skills for cross-functional reviews and approvals Responsibilities: We will assess our Edge Analytics solution across device, cloud, and data or ML components against ISO/SAE 21434 We will determine certification and release readiness needs, required work products, and ownership We will produce an assessment report, gap and risk register, prioritized remediation plan, and evidence or work-product mapping We will develop and complete the TARA for Edge Analytics, including threat scenarios, impact ratings, attack feasibility, and risk treatment recommendations We will deliver TARA artifacts, assumptions, traceability to system architecture and interfaces, and a risk treatment plan We will close cybersecurity requirements and work products identified through the assessment and TARA We will update cybersecurity work products, track actions through closure, and prepare a review-ready evidence package We will plan and facilitate stakeholder reviews and approvals with PCRA, BU Cybersecurity, Product Cybersecurity, and engineering leads Technologies: Cloud Support Security More: We are working on our Edge Analytics solution and need support to strengthen its cybersecurity posture in line with ISO/SAE 21434. The role focuses on assessment, TARA completion, remediation planning, and stakeholder alignment across device, cloud, and data or ML components.
