Senior VP, Site Reliability Engineer

Salary: $30,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements: We are seeking 9+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or Software Engineering. We value a strong programming background in Java, preferably, or another modern language. We need experience with at least one observability platform such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, or Splunk. We look for hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting production systems. We expect strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. We want someone who can identify inefficiencies and drive automation. Preferred: experience with distributed systems or microservices architectures. Preferred: familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Preferred: exposure to cloud platforms and/or Kubernetes. Preferred: scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar tools for automation. Preferred: knowledge of SRE concepts such as observability, incident management, and reliability engineering. Responsibilities: We design and implement end-to-end observability across distributed systems, including logs, metrics, and traces. We integrate and optimize monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, and Splunk. We develop dashboards, alerts, and telemetry frameworks to deliver real-time visibility. We identify monitoring gaps and promote best practices. We automate repetitive operational work using code and tooling to reduce toil. We build self-healing and auto-remediation solutions. We improve production efficiency through scalable, reliable processes and engineering discipline. We troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across distributed systems. We participate in incident management, triage, and root cause analysis. We enhance monitoring and automation based on recurring incident patterns. We collaborate with support and engineering teams to strengthen system stability. We define and measure service health using SLIs, SLOs, and key performance metrics. We identify system bottlenecks and reliability risks. We contribute to performance tuning and capacity planning. We provide input on system architecture to improve resilience and scalability.
