Senior VP, Front-End Engineer

Salary: $202,500 - 210,000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. We require 109 months of experience in the role offered or in a related IT occupation. We require experience designing and developing RESTful backend services using .Net to retrieve financial data, including accounts, portfolios, clients, and holdings, from multiple data sources in an orchestrated way and present it as a single response. We require experience designing and developing reusable components and libraries using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We require experience establishing and maintaining coding standards and best practices, and enforcing them through tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing. We require experience designing and developing CI/CD architecture and best practices using Gitlab. We require experience reviewing code written by team members in JavaScript, Angular, NodeJS, and .Net for frontend and backend systems. We require experience deploying applications through CI/CD and provisioning Kafka objects for applications using JavaScript, Python, and Shell script. Responsibilities: We consult with internal business groups to provide high-level application software development services and technical support. We work with the frontend of websites as well as the backend and server-side systems that power the user experience. We apply security principles, relational databases, and architecture design practices. We provide senior-level technical guidance to IT management and senior technical staff. We evaluate adherence to our technology standards. We write well-designed, testable, and efficient code. We analyze, design, and build tests and test automation suites. We create flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to support requirements and solutions. We maintain software functionality and keep systems current. We actively participate in code reviews. We integrate software components into fully functional software systems. We apply security and privacy principles in our work. We collaborate with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements for various applications. We analyze information and recommend solutions to address business issues for a specific business group. We advise IT management and technical staff on emerging technologies and related services. We contribute to defining corporate implementation and integration strategies for new technologies.
