Senior Systems Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements: I have ten years of relevant experience supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity. I must be a hands-on Systems Engineering Lead with the ability to perform technical Systems Engineering/Administration. I need to be extremely proficient in maintaining/utilizing Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), also known as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), as well as vulnerability and Windows image management. I must be proficient in managing STIG compliance via Microsoft Active Directory – Group Policy Management. I should have experience managing Microsoft Hyper-V Clustered Platforms, including design, implementation, and management; utilizing Microsoft Virtual Machine Manager (VMM). I need to manage, secure, and deploy updates for Windows 10 Operating Systems via SCCM. I should be familiar with Cohesity Backup Management and Veeam Backup Management, including backup standards and policies. I must have knowledge of EMC Storage Appliances and best practices in storage area network (SAN). I should be knowledgeable in Microsoft Exchange 2016 and higher. I need to support/manage Server 2016 and 2019 platforms, including domain management. I should manage and secure remote applications, facilitating legacy applications. I need to configure and maintain an environment for high availability and data recovery while assisting with the development of disaster recovery plans. I must be capable of managing and following configuration management/control processes. I require DoD 8570 compliance. Responsibilities: I design, deploy, and maintain client and server platforms. I maintain day-to-day operations. I am responsible for contributing to the IT Infrastructure Roadmap related to systems hardware/software. I have experience working in secure, complex environments and can demonstrate this knowledge. I assess client and server platforms for vulnerabilities, mitigate existing threats, and provide proactive posture recommendations in compliance with organizational governance.
