Senior Software Engineer, Pega

Salary: $105000 - 158000 per year Requirements: We require a BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. We look for Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification. We serve as a Senior Application Developer on our LTC Claims Operations technology team by designing, building, and supporting scalable workflow applications. We develop software using Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) for BPM and business process rules initiatives. We create innovative approaches to solve design, architecture, and technical challenges. We partner with the Lead System Architect to define solution design and prepare technical documentation. We continuously refactor, apply visualization techniques, and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts. We build and maintain strong working relationships across cross-functional technology teams and application users. We collaborate with Business Analysts, Testers, and business users to prioritize development within resource constraints. We evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and tools when appropriate. We perform peer code reviews and ensure strong adherence to Pega guardrails. This Senior Software Engineer, Pega role is based in Richmond, VA, Lynchburg, VA, or remote, with hybrid in-office work required for those within 50 miles of our Richmond or Lynchburg office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
