Senior Software Engineer II, AI Native, Experimentation & ML

📋 Description Design and build APIs/services for experimentation and personalization. Use AI tools (Claude Code) to orchestrate specs, code, tests, reviews. Define AI-Native engineering playbooks for the org. Build backend services delivering fast, scalable experiences to millions. Collaborate with product managers and data teams to solve complex problems. Participate in on-call rotation and incident response. 🎯 Requirements 6+ years backend software engineering Java & Spring Boot proficiency Experience with Apache Kafka or similar streaming Distributed systems concepts: consistency, fault tolerance, replication AWS and containerized deployments Heav y use of agentic workflows; 1+ year prompting LLMs Nice-to-Have Experimentation/A/B testing platforms experience Recommendation/personalization or ML-serving systems Stream processing frameworks (Kafka Streams, Flink) Schema registries/evolution strategies Confluent Platform/Cloud knowledge Observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog) AI-Native Expectations Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) for real tasks AI-generated code receives same review as any PR; you own it Velocity: leverage AI to move faster without sacrificing quality Team leadership: share best practices and help others adopt AI workflows Continuous learning: stay current and propose improvements
