Senior Software Engineer

Salary: $120000 - 233000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, plus four years of experience as a software developer or in a similar role. At least three years of experience within the four-year background in each of the following areas: Data mining and business intelligence tools. ETL development. CI/CD practices and tools, including GitLab, unit testing, change management, and infrastructure as code. Modern visualization languages and libraries, including React, Matplotlib, Plotly, and D3. Business intelligence software, including Power BI. Responsibilities: We design and build integrated solutions that modernize, consolidate, and coordinate independently developed applications to support business needs. We develop extracts in vendor systems for delivery into Snowflake using Snowpipe and DBT. We create comprehensive solutions within Snowflake. We design and develop modern applications using Python, React/Redux, TypeScript, and SQL. We write complex SQL queries to retrieve data for processing and analysis. We build serverless components for real-time integration between data products. We design and develop computational engines for advanced investment analysis and calculations. We create infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Terraform and AWS services. We develop datasets and dashboards to satisfy business reporting requirements. We follow and manage DevOps best practices to optimize cost, improve performance, and maintain infrastructure.
