Senior SOC Engineer

The Opportunity: Permanent role Work location: East Work hours: Mon to Fri 8:30am - 6pm Adecco is partnering with recognised organisation and they are looking for Senior SOC Engineer to join the Team! Responsibilities: Monitor and triage security alerts across multiple customer environments and internal systems using SIEM and security tools. Investigate security events by analysing logs, EDR, NDR and threat intelligence. Perform initial incident response actions in accordance with established playbooks and procedures. Escalate incidents promptly with clear analysis, documentation, and customer communication. Maintain incident tickets and ensure compliance with operational processes and SLAs. Requirements: Diploma in IT or equivalent, with min 3 years of SOC/security analyst experience. Hands-on experience in SIEM monitoring, alert triage, log analysis and incident management. Knowledge of endpoint, network and cloud logs, common attack techniques and basic incident response. Basic EDR investigation skills with strong documentation and communication abilities. Certifications such as GCIH, GSOC, or CySA+ are preferred.
