Senior SAP Functional Consultant

Salary: $149,000 - 248,000 per year Requirements: We require an active and maintained Secret Federal or DoD security clearance. We require a bachelors degree; four additional years of relevant experience may replace the degree. We need at least 7 years of hands-on SAP sustainment experience supporting DoD or federal ERP programs. We are seeking a proven SAP production support expert with client advisory experience, especially in ECC to S/4HANA transition environments. We need strong knowledge of Navy (NAVAIR) operations, financial workflows, procurement, warehouse management, and SAP configuration standards. We value familiarity with Navy logistics and supply chain operations, including aviation maintenance and depot-level support. We need expertise in Navy ERP requirements, operational support needs, testing and evaluation, and training. We require broad SAP ECC and S/4HANA support experience across FICO, MM, SD, IM, PM, PS, HR, EWM, and SCM processes. We need demonstrated experience in production support, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution. We require excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting. Active or eligible DoD security clearance is preferred. SAP, SAFe Agile, ITIL, or related certifications are preferred. Responsibilities: We provide Tier 2 support for SAP ECC modules used in Navy ERP, including FI, CO, FM, MM, SD, PM, PS, HR, and other deployed areas. We troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in coordination with end users, Tier 1 support, and Tier 3 technical teams. We analyze system behavior and recommend functional remedies aligned with Navy ERP standards and SAP public sector best practices. We partner with cross-functional teams to support enhancements, testing, and deployment efforts. We document fixes, develop knowledge base content, and help improve support processes continuously. We serve as a trusted advisor to the client by sharing guidance on Navy ERP operations, data flows, compliance needs, and preparation for the S/4HANA transition.
