Senior Reverse Engineer / Cyber Engineer

Salary: $103000 - 284000 per year Requirements: Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Demonstrate proficiency with software debuggers and static analysis tools such as Ghidra, IDA, and Binary Ninja Be skilled in one or more programming languages Understand Unix/Linux operating systems along with embedded systems development toolchains Enjoy solving complex problems and have experience overcoming technical challenges Hold an active TS/SCI clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI+Polygraph clearance Responsibilities: Reverse engineer embedded systems and develop innovative exploits Collaborate with governmental sponsors and operators to create mission-aligned capabilities Investigate new techniques for automating reverse engineering and exploit development Propose innovative ideas for both internal and external funding opportunities Mentor junior team members in the field of reverse engineering Share knowledge by presenting ideas clearly through written papers and presentations to teammates, APL management, and government decision-makers Technologies: Embedded Linux Security Unix C++ Hardware HTTP LESS Network More: At APL, we are dedicated to tackling our nation’s most pressing defense, security, space, and scientific challenges.
