About the role

Enhance digital communication systems through systems engineering and MBSE practices.

Salary: $103000 - 252000 per year Requirements: Hold a Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a closely related field. Possess a minimum of five years of relevant systems engineering experience. Have at least three years of practical experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Demonstrate knowledge of wireless communication systems and IP-based networking. Exhibit a solid understanding of systems engineering principles and practices. Familiarity with digital engineering and systems engineering modeling techniques and methodologies. Knowledgeable about systems engineering frameworks like DODAF and UAF. Willing to stay current with recent advancements in digital engineering, including MBSE and related tools. Capable of analyzing complex problems and formulating innovative solutions, particularly in system architecture and integration. Possess excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities. Demonstrate proficiency in leading projects, working independently, and collaborating effectively within a team. Willingness to travel occasionally for work, both locally and non-locally. Hold an active Top Secret security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship and willingness to undergo government security clearance investigation. Responsibilities: Enhance your systems and digital engineering skills through training and collaboration with fellow engineers, digital engineers, and MBSE modelers. Identify and implement methods, processes, and guidelines to create artifacts vital for the capability development process. Engage with teams focused on improving the capabilities of essential Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) systems, utilizing digital engineering to evaluate existing and proposed systems and platforms. Present concepts, solutions, and analysis findings effectively to sponsors and working groups. Cooperate with engineers and scientists in a multidisciplinary environment to produce high-quality digital engineering products.
