Senior Radar Systems Engineer

Salary: $126,000 - 176,000 per year Requirements: We require 10+ years of relevant experience. We need demonstrated experience across the full systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements definition, system architecture, requirement allocation, verification, validation, and integration. We are looking for a strong background in radar systems, sensor technologies, or defense combat systems, with preferred experience assessing radar performance and enabling system capability growth. We require experience in radar signal processing areas such as waveform design, clutter mitigation, electronic protection, electromagnetic compatibility, or software-based radar modeling. We need the ability to build or apply modeling and simulation tools to assess performance, support engineering analysis, and confirm design requirements. We require experience creating test plans, supporting lab or field evaluations, analyzing results, and documenting technical conclusions; MATLAB experience is highly preferred. We prefer experience applying MBSE principles, methods, and tools to systems engineering work. We require the ability to prepare technical documentation, engineering reports, interface control documents, and present findings to government and engineering audiences. We require a minimum BS/BA in a STEM discipline from an accredited institution. We prefer a degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Electronics Engineering, or a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics. We require an active Secret clearance. We require U.S. citizenship for clearance eligibility. Responsibilities: We lead systems engineering efforts from requirements development through integration and verification. We develop and maintain system specifications, interface documentation, and engineering baselines. We support modeling, simulation, and performance analysis of the system. We take part in radar integration, test activities, and technical reviews. We contribute to radar signal processing work, including waveform development, clutter mitigation, electronic protection, electromagnetic compatibility, and software model development. We support test planning, execution, and data analysis using MATLAB and laboratory test equipment. This role includes occasional travel to Moorestown, NJ, Wallops Island, the Navy Yard, and Quantico, VA for testing and support, with a limited number of trips each year. We offer a projected annual compensation range of $126,000 to $176,000, with pay determined by experience, education, training, clearance, location, and skills.
