Senior Radar Integration & Test Engineer

Salary: $133000 - 173000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics; Masters degree is a plus. Over 15 years of experience in a technical setting, primarily in a Test Engineering capacity. Proven leadership in Developmental Test and Evaluation, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). Solid background in radar-focused software and hardware system integration and testing. Demonstrated success in cross-functional leadership roles. Hands-on experience with radar systems. Expertise in functional and performance testing. Familiarity with C++ and Linux or digital hardware. Proficiency in MATLAB for tool development and systems analysis. Understanding of configuration management, quality assurance, requirement management systems, and automated testing tools. Strong communication skills with an ability to engage effectively with stakeholders on technical matters. Skill in providing cost estimates for schedule, resources, and equipment needed for integration and testing activities. Awareness of control, repeatability, and risk management practices, acting proactively. Excellent presentation abilities to effectively communicate integration and test materials in group settings. Capability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic environment. Keen attention to detail with an analytical approach to identifying and resolving inconsistencies. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, maintaining respectful interactions with colleagues, clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Responsibilities: Directing Integration & Test program planning and implementation for verification and validation efforts. Assisting with Earned Value Management and schedule formulation. Crafting and executing intricate software and/or hardware testing plans and procedures for system-level analysis. Overseeing complex integration tasks and the development of testing environments and systems. Guiding internal and external stakeholders on technical and program-related matters. Conducting technical reviews and leading status meetings. Analyzing data, preparing test briefings, and drafting testing reports. Complying with established standard operating procedures. Recognizing product and program interdependencies and planning integration and test events accordingly. Providing mentorship, technical advice, and coaching to less experienced engineers. Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to comprehend client requirements and establish testing criteria. Contributing to the implementation of innovative design and development methodologies to enhance overall quality, reliability, and speed of delivery. Managing multiple components of a project or a complex aspect of a larger initiative.
