Senior Power BI Developer

Salary: $95,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements: We require U.S. citizenship due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements. We are looking for a masters degree in data science, computer science, or a closely related discipline. We need at least 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar field, with deep Power BI expertise. We expect strong proficiency in SQL and DAX, along with hands-on experience working with large datasets, RLS, calculation groups, and data pipelines. We value experience translating data into meaningful insights and compelling visualizations. We are seeking someone with exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on data quality, accuracy, and security. We need excellent communication and collaboration skills to gather requirements and present findings. Microsoft Power BI PL-300 certification is preferred. Responsibilities: We assess data sources and develop queries to support reporting needs. We build Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for business decision-making. We partner with business users to gather requirements, define report output, and design effective solutions. We deliver items to production workspaces in alignment with our tenant architecture strategy. We connect to multiple data sources such as SSMS, Dataverse, and SharePoint, then transform data and create reusable assets like SQL stored procedures, views, and Power BI data models. We design and develop interactive dashboards to highlight key performance indicators and business trends. We automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and maintain data accuracy. We monitor report and dashboard performance and optimize solutions for scalability and a better user experience. We ensure the integrity and accuracy of data across all reporting platforms.
