Cybersecurity Analyst

Salary: $95,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements: We require U.S. citizenship due to the sensitivity of the work. We require an active Secret security clearance. We require a bachelors degree with 12 years of cybersecurity experience, or an associate degree with 14 years of relevant experience. We require experience in operational cybersecurity accreditation and certification for embedded systems at the Secret level and below. We require working knowledge of AR 25-2 Army Cybersecurity and the DoD Risk Management Framework. We require current experience obtaining system accreditation using eMASS. We require a Security+ certification. We prefer a CISSP certification. We are looking for a highly organized professional with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. We value candidates with extensive experience in network security architecture and systems engineering processes. Responsibilities: We evaluate system designs from a cybersecurity perspective to ensure all required security products and analyses are properly integrated. We prepare and review cybersecurity test plans, procedures, reports, and related failure documentation for technical accuracy. We coordinate the incorporation of cybersecurity, COMSEC, and TEMPEST throughout the full system lifecycle, from design through deployment. We review system performance against cybersecurity requirements and assess field results, risks, and mission impact. We support Program Management Offices with cybersecurity acquisition documentation and compliance with statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements. We implement the DoD Risk Management Framework and help the ISSM ensure security controls and RMF packages are effectively executed and maintained. We assist with policy, programmatic, budget, and doctrine matters tied to cybersecurity within the organization. We prepare authorization and supporting security documentation and apply systems engineering knowledge to cybersecurity efforts. We analyze vulnerabilities and threats affecting IT systems, National Security Systems, and Automated Information Systems. We conduct security analyses and risk or vulnerability assessments to strengthen system protection. We manage incident coordination and notification with the local Network Enterprise Center and supporting CERT organizations. We support compliance with DOD IG Cybersecurity Self-Assessment checklist requirements and FISMA. We help implement audit controls, participate in inspections and surveys, share findings, and evaluate corrective actions.
