Project Overview: Cobalt Streamworks Infrastructure's Renewables & Clean Power business line is seeking qualified project controls professionals for forthcoming combined cycle power plant projects planned in multiple locations across the United States including Texas, Wyoming, Ohio, and Indianna. The project teams will be initially based in Reston, VA; following contract award, selected candidates will relocate to designated project sites. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the reemerging power business supporting our customers and society. Successful applicants must be willing to start out on short-term assignments in Reston, Virginia and then mobilize to project locations upon award. Job Summary: In this position, you will work with the project team to lead a team to manage the entire set of planning activities for assigned projects. You will identify schedule trends, analyze data to provide innovative solutions to scheduling challenges, ensure schedule updates are completed on time, and be responsible for reporting requirements. Your leadership will be essential in driving scheduling efficiency and project success.#LI-ML1 Major Responsibilities: Manages planning activities for a significant area within a project, including Level 3 and Level 4 schedules Identifies schedule trends for management attention Analyzes data to provide innovative solutions to scheduling challenges Ensures schedule updates are completed in time to support project reporting requirements Supports project organizational and administrative activities Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience Required Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrates expertise in independent planning, organizing, directing, performing, reviewing, and presenting scheduling deliverables with minimal supervision. Apply advanced professional judgment and comprehensive knowledge of technical planning, scheduling, engineering design, construction, and procurement practices. Experienced in the execution, monitoring, and evaluation of planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and variance analysis across both field and office environments. Proficient in oral and written communication, with strong leadership and organizational abilities. Highly skilled in preparing detailed and sophisticated progress reports. Possesses project management knowledge acquired through focused training and practical experience. Advanced proficiency with MS Office, Power-BI, Primavera P6, and MS Project. Well-versed in supervision, personnel administration, and staff training for both technical and non-technical teams. Maintains an advanced understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup processes.
