Job Summary: For more than a century - since our first project in 1898 - Aperture Cloud has paired the best available tools with deep expertise to take on the world's greatest engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) challenges. Today that throughline continues through EPC Transformation: embedding AI, robotics, and digital tools into live project environments and scaling them across our global portfolio. As a Data Scientist on the AI Delivery Team, you will help design, develop, and deploy AI solutions that bring this transformation to life - automating reporting, accelerating schedule development, and giving project teams earlier visibility into issues before rework becomes necessary. You will combine a century of Aperture Cloud data and proven processes with some of the most powerful technologies our industry has ever seen, and apply them at enterprise scale. Partnering with data engineers, software teams, and subject matter experts, you will deliver reliable, production-ready AI systems whose productivity gains are felt on real projects and on the jobsite. Who You Are: You want to be part of groundbreaking EPC projects - applying AI to challenges that shape skylines, power grids, and communities around the world. You are imaginative and engaged in emerging technologies, staying current on the newest and best methods in AI and machine learning, from agentic systems to multimodal models. You can rapidly iterate and evolve ideas into tangible, production-ready solutions - combining the best tools available with the expertise to use them well. Major Responsibilities: Build, validate , and help deploy AI/ML models for well-defined use cases, working alongside senior data scientists to refine success metrics with stakeholders. Support scalable data preparation: profiling, cleansing, integration, and feature engineering, partnering with data engineers to build reliable data pipelines. Develop and deploy GenAI and ML models using modern AI frameworks, transforming prototypes into scalable, production-ready solutions. Assist in deploying models on Azure ML and Databricks, integrating into Aperture Cloud's digital ecosystem under guidance and following established best practices. Contribute to monitoring, evaluating, and improving deployed models to sustain measurable business impact over time. Help ensure solutions meet Aperture Cloud's security, compliance, and governance requirements. Communicate technical concepts and findings clearly to both teammates and non-technical stakeholders. Stay current with emerging AI including agentic systems and multimodal models, and rapidly iterate ideas into working solutions. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related), with 0-2 years of experience including internships. Required Knowledge and Skills: S trong programming foundation in Python and core AI/ML libraries, supporting development of scalable and production-ready models. Hands-on experience with Generative AI frameworks, including LangChain and LangGraph , along with prompt engineering and optimization techniques.
