Senior Pharmacy Data Engineer

Salary: $100000 - 139000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree, or equivalent, in computer science, application programming, software development, information systems, database administration, mathematics, engineering, or a closely related field, or comparable relevant experience. We require at least 5 years of relevant professional experience. We prefer experience working with pharmacy data. We prefer familiarity with pharmacy-related tools such as 340b, Pyxis, and Omnicell. We prefer experience using Snowflake. Responsibilities: We develop, test, and deploy ELT and ETL workflows across multiple sources, destinations, and tools with minimal supervision. We support and coach mid-level engineers while collaborating with data users of different technical backgrounds to explain available data sources and possible dataset biases. We provide operational and on-demand support for troubleshooting and maintaining data warehouses, datasets, and data pipelines. We contribute to the design, development, and implementation of conceptual, logical, and physical data models. We follow our development lifecycle standards and best practices to deliver high-quality, dependable data assets while adhering to rules governing sensitive data such as PHI and PII. We build CI/CD processes that speed up value delivery and reduce manual intervention. We take part in enterprise Agile ceremonies and help define, document, and refine features and user stories for planning and delivery. We continuously strengthen our business understanding and technical skills, mentor less experienced teammates, and contribute to our Data Engineering Community of Practice. We help create departmental standards and support their rollout across the team.
