Data Engineer

Salary: $112000 - 156000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in computer science, data science, or a related field, along with 36 months of experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, or in a related role. We require at least 1 year of experience in the health insurance industry. We require 3 years of experience architecting ETL pipelines with Apache Spark, AWS Glue, and Apache Airflow. We require 3 years of experience designing cloud-native data architectures with Snowflake. We require 3 years of experience developing data models using Oracle and MongoDB. We require 3 years of experience implementing real-time data streaming and algorithms with Apache Kafka and Apache Spark. Responsibilities: We develop and deploy ELT and ETL processes across multiple sources, targets, and tools. We collaborate with data consumers to enhance the processes that connect them to data. We build and release self-service reporting assets that enable end users to explore data. We design, create, and update data ingestion pipelines and workflows aligned with technical specifications. We support incidents involving data warehouses, datasets, and data pipelines, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational support.
