Senior Node.js Developer

About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer with strong commercial experience in AI to build and develop production-ready, AI-powered features. The role combines strong backend engineering in Node.js with hands-on work on AI solutions, experimentation, evaluation and integration into a live product.The role will suit someone who gets satisfaction from seeing their work used by real customers—not solely from conducting research or experimenting with models.Responsibilities:Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Node.jsBuild and integrate AI-powered features into production systemsResearch different AI approaches, run experiments and evaluate results to identify the most suitable solutionsDevelop Python-based components for AI/ML workflows, data processing and experimentationBuild prototypes and transform successful approaches into reliable, production-ready solutionsIntegrate LLMs, AI models and external AI services with existing backend systemsDefine evaluation methods and metrics to measure the quality and performance of AI solutionsWork closely with engineering and product teams on architecture and implementation decisionsTake ownership of features from technical design and experimentation through implementation and deploymentMonitor and improve existing solutions based on production results, performance and user feedbackRequirements:Strong commercial experience with Node.js and backend developmentAt least 2 years of commercial experience working with AI/ML solutionsProfessional experience with PythonHands-on experience building and integrating AI-powered functionality into real-world productsExperience taking AI experiments or prototypes into productionAbility to research different technical approaches, test them and make decisions based on resultsUnderstanding of how to evaluate AI-based solutions, including quality, accuracy, latency and costStrong understanding of backend architecture, APIs and integrationsAbility to independently own technically complex features from idea to productionHighly ValuedSome experience with JavaScript, as other parts of the platform use itPrevious experience in travel technology, hospitality, marketplaces or booking platformsWhat we offer:Long-term cooperation on an international project.Fully remote work.A collaborative environment with experienced engineers.Private medical care.Multisport card.Flexible working arrangements.
