Senior Full Stack Developer

Salary: $149000 - 173000 per year Requirements: We require 8+ years of software development experience. We need strong expertise in ReactJS, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and contemporary front-end development practices. We require experience building server-side applications and REST APIs with NodeJS, preferably using ExpressJS. We need advanced SQL capability, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft SQL Server. We require proficiency with HTML and CSS for responsive, accessible user interface development. We need experience using Git and modern source control workflows. We require experience working in a Microsoft Windows development environment. We need the ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust with a Medium Background Investigation. We prefer experience with Vite or comparable React build tooling. We prefer experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performing APIs. We prefer familiarity with automated testing practices and performance tuning. We prefer experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Entra. We prefer familiarity with healthcare or insurance environments and related data standards. We require a bachelors degree or equivalent related experience. Responsibilities: We develop front-end interfaces with ReactJS and modern JavaScript tooling, including Vite. We build and maintain client-side functionality using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We develop and integrate server-side services and REST APIs using NodeJS and ExpressJS. We design, write, unit test, and document application code. We write and optimize Microsoft SQL Server queries, joins, views, and stored procedures to support features and reporting. We prepare reports, requirements, user stories, and design documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence. We apply problem-solving and design skills with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and availability. We participate in software design and architecture discussions to meet functional and non-functional requirements. We collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders, while conducting code reviews and sharing constructive feedback.
