Senior Endpoint Platform Engineer

Salary: $98,300 - 172,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience At least 6 years of experience engineering enterprise endpoint environments Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, endpoint compliance, update strategies, and application lifecycle management Strong experience managing macOS in enterprise environments using Jamf or equivalent tools Demonstrated ability to design endpoint architectures and lead cross-functional technical initiatives Experience supporting manufacturing or operationally critical environments Strong communication and leadership skills for working effectively with business stakeholders Preferred: Masters degree in a relevant technical field Preferred: Jamf 200, 300, or 400 certification, or equivalent macOS management certification Preferred: Experience in large-scale, global, or manufacturing-focused organizations Preferred: Experience supporting cloud modernization or digital workplace transformation initiatives Responsibilities: Define and operate the enterprise endpoint management platform, including Intune/Autopilot and Jamf/macOS architecture, standards, and strategy Deliver reliable endpoint services and a positive user experience across office, remote, and manufacturing environments Design platforms, standards, and guardrails that help Service Desk teams reduce incidents and improve first-contact resolution Communicate platform changes, risks, and known issues to IT partners and stakeholders Design endpoint solutions that balance security, usability, and operational needs Serve as a Tier 3 escalation resource for complex Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android endpoint issues Investigate and resolve systemic issues, including enrollment failures, policy conflicts, configuration drift, and update failures Partner with Service Desk, Security, and Infrastructure teams on root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions Deliver endpoint engineering work through established backlogs, standards, and change management processes Implement approved changes involving endpoint configuration, compliance, provisioning, and application delivery Improve endpoint platforms, tools, and operational processes through ongoing engineering initiatives Maintain and enhance endpoint standards, reference architectures, and troubleshooting playbooks Mentor EUC Engineers and support teams through knowledge sharing and technical leadership Participate in an on-call rotation as a senior escalation resource for critical endpoint platform incidents Technologies: Android Cloud Support macOS Microsoft Intune Security Windows iOS Mobile More: We are recruiting a Senior Endpoint Platform Engineer for an onsite contract-to-hire opportunity with a global manufacturing company in Dayton, Minnesota.
