Senior DevOps / Test Automation / Analytics Consultant

Position: Senior DevOps / Test Automation / Analytics Consultant Seniority Level: Senior Background: Overview We are looking for an experienced consultant to help us improve our software delivery process across multiple web applications and services built with Next.js, .NET Core, and Python . Our code is hosted in GitHub, delivery using GitHub actions and GitOps through ArgoCD. Our applications are hosted in Kubernetes clusters (EKS), with some frontends hosted in AWS S3/Cloudfront. What we offer: Full Remote role B2B Contract Rate: 45 euro/h + VAT Project: We want to move from basic deployment automation toward a stronger continuous integration and release strategy , including end-to-end testing in sandbox , automated validation of deployed releases, and a safe path to auto-promote to production . In addition, we want help designing a lightweight analytics strategy to surface usage metrics such as logins and pageviews in Grafana for stakeholders. Responsibilities Assess our current CI/CD setup and recommend improvements. Design a reusable pipeline strategy for: Next.js apps .NET Core services Python services Monorepos and full-stack repos Implement or guide implementation of: Build and test automation Deployment validation Sandbox smoke tests End-to-end tests Release promotion gates Help design a test strategy for Microsoft Entra authentication flows. Recommend how to structure test environments and test data. Define a practical analytics/event tracking approach for product usage. Help create Grafana dashboards for business and technical stakeholders. Document the solution so our internal team can maintain it. Key Requirements Strong experience with GitHub Actions . Knowledge about GitOps principles for deployment to Kubernetes . Experience with end-to-end testing in browser-based applications. Familiarity with Next.js , .NET Core , and Python . Experience with Microsoft Entra / Azure AD authentication . Experience designing CI/CD strategies for multi-repo and monorepo setups. Experience with observability or analytics dashboards, preferably with Grafana . Nice to Have Experience with Playwright . Experience with release promotion models and gated deployments. Experience with OpenTelemetry or event-based analytics. Experience working with self-hosted infrastructure. Please note: Experience helping teams establish durable engineering practices, not just quick fixes. What success looks like A working CI/CD pattern that can be reused across our repos. Automated sandbox validation before promotion. Reduced manual release effort. Clear test coverage for critical user journeys. A practical analytics dashboard approach for stakeholder reporting. Documentation and handover that enable our team to continue independently.
