Senior Developer Realtime Bare-Metal Software

We require proven experience as a software developer or architect in a professional software development environment for bare metal controllers (C), real-time operating systems (Linux), or similar machine-oriented applications. We require an excellent understanding of real-time applications such as fast embedded control systems. We require the ability to develop optimum solutions efficiently using the latest tools and methods in low-level programming. We require clear, precise, and empathetic communication skills, with the ability to solve complex challenges independently and as part of a team. We require basic experience with VHDL or similar languages. We require good English skills and, optionally, German language skills. Responsibilities: We develop control software for the next generations of lithography systems and drive progress in the semiconductor industry. We implement best-in-class embedded control systems on bare metal, embedded Linux, and FPGA. We contribute to the definition and design of software architecture. We evaluate technical feasibility and create proofs of concept and final software for new designs or changes. We work in an agile team in which each member is an expert.
