Senior Architect Realtime Bare-Metal Software

We require proven experience as a software developer or architect in a professional software development environment for bare metal controllers (C), real-time operating systems (Linux), or similar machine-oriented applications. We require an excellent understanding of real-time applications such as fast embedded control systems. We require the ability to efficiently develop optimum solutions using the latest tools and methods in low-level programming. We require clear, precise, and empathetic communication skills, with the ability to solve complex challenges independently and in a team. We require experience with VHDL or similar languages on FPGAs. We require good English skills and optionally German language skills. Responsibilities: We develop the control software for the next generations of lithography systems and drive progress in the semiconductor industry. We implement best-in-class embedded control systems on bare metal, embedded Linux, and in firmware. We define the software architecture and design. We evaluate technical feasibility, create PoCs, and develop final software for new designs or changes. We work in an agile team where each member is an expert.
