Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Salary: $98,097.6 - 120,702.4 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree, or equivalent experience, in cybersecurity, computer science, information security, or a related discipline. We look for 3–5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in cyber security or security operations. We need hands-on experience with incident response or SOC operations. We value practical experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or similar tools. We expect experience using EDR solutions such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, or comparable products. We seek strong capability in log analysis and security investigations. We need familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and basic regulatory concepts such as GDPR. We prefer experience working in a global or distributed team environment. We require strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, GCIH, or an equivalent credential are a plus. Responsibilities: We investigate and respond to cyber security incidents, including phishing, malware, unauthorized access, and suspicious activity. We perform structured triage, analysis, and containment actions in line with CSIRT procedures. We monitor and review alerts from SIEM, EDR, and other security tools. We analyze logs across endpoints, network, and cloud environments to identify indicators of compromise. We document investigations clearly and accurately, ensuring actions and findings are fully recorded. We support incident response across time zones, including shift handoffs and cross-team coordination. We contribute to the ongoing improvement of response processes and post-incident reviews. We apply frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, SANS incident handling, and our internal playbooks. We escalate issues appropriately and provide context to support decision-making. We identify patterns, trends, and recurring issues, and share insights with the team. We help develop and refine standard operating procedures and playbooks.
