Your Skills and Experience Strong proficiency in Python combined with proven backend experience in compiled/systems languages. Hands-on experience with Rust is highly valued; however, candidates with strong backgrounds in lower-level or highly concurrent systems (e.g., C++ , Go ) and a proven track record of rapidly self-learning Rust are strongly encouraged to apply. Proven experience designing, building, and scaling high-performance backend systems or distributed cloud architectures. Deep understanding of REST, gRPC, and WebSockets for real-time, low-overhead communication. Hands-on experience architecting or working with event-driven architectures and streaming platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka, NATS, Redpanda). Strong command of Linux environments, operating system internals, performance profiling/tuning, containerization (Docker), and cloud environments (Kubernetes experience preferred).
