Build comprehensive test suites targeting API layers (REST, WebSockets), real-time data pipelines, and interactive frontend workflows. Integrate automated test suites directly into continuous delivery pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) for instant build validation and automated quality gates. Partner directly with software engineers and product managers during design phases to define clear acceptance criteria and platform testability requirements. Contribute to non-functional, load, stress, and conformance testing as the platform approaches go-live milestones to ensure high availability and sub-second latency. Track, document, and report on automated test coverage, regression defect trends, and root-cause analyses. Your Skills and Experience At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software quality engineering with a heavy focus on Test Automation. Experience building object-oriented or modular automated test frameworks from scratch using Python or TypeScript (e.g., PyTest, Playwright, Cypress, or custom API test harnesses). Strong experience testing backend service interfaces and real-time protocols, including RESTful APIs and WebSockets . Hands-on experience embedding automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and working with containerized testing environments ( Docker ). Deep theoretical and practical mastery of testing methodologies: boundary value analysis, integration contracts, component mocking, and test pyramid strategies. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for collaborating with distributed engineering teams and writing clear technical documentation. 🔹 Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with high-throughput load and performance testing tools such as Locust , k6 , Gatling , or JMeter . Familiarity with testing event-driven or real-time streaming architectures (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, WebSockets). Background in financial technology (Fintech), capital markets, trading platforms, or regulated software environments.
