Scrum Master / Project Manager

Salary: $124,800 - 145,600 per year Requirements: Seven or more years of IT experience, including substantial technology project management experience. Prior SAP project management experience and understanding of SAP technology, integrations, and related requirements. Experience supporting security, compliance, and identity and access management projects. Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industries preferred. Familiarity with Jira or similar Agile lifecycle tools preferred. Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methods, including Waterfall governance and Agile ceremonies and practices. PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or a related certification preferred. Experience with ServiceNow or SPM preferred. Ability to manage complex projects involving integrations and cross-functional dependencies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-support skills, with attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Clarity, Jira, or comparable platforms. Ability to influence, facilitate decisions, manage conflict, and build alignment while considering diverse perspectives. Adaptability in response to shifting priorities, ambiguity, and evolving needs, along with strong situational awareness and appropriate assertiveness. Ability to communicate complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration, accountability, and quality outcomes. Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Willingness and ability to work on a W-2 basis and convert to full-time employment after the contract period. Responsibilities: Work with SAP OTC, RTR, PTP, and PTD teams to define and manage backlogs, priorities, dependencies, timelines, and delivery plans. Develop and maintain project plans covering schedule, cost, scope, quality, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies. Coordinate matrixed teams using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches as appropriate. Identify cross-workstream dependencies and critical paths, and communicate key tasks and milestones. Assess deviations from plans and develop mitigation or corrective actions with project team members. Track deliverables against approved scope, schedule, and budget, escalating concerns with impact assessments and options. Document, communicate, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, aligning stakeholders on responses. Engage stakeholders at the right levels and intervals to support timely decisions and resolve issues. Adapt communications to different audiences and provide concise, actionable updates. Maintain project records, including status reports, RAID logs, schedules, forecasts, decision logs, change requests, and communication plans. Track actuals and forecasts against budget, escalating budget risks and financial impacts when needed. Recommend process changes and build stakeholder agreement. Apply best practices, technical knowledge, and organizational awareness to reduce risks and improve outcomes. Mentor others in project management methods, practices, and tools, and identify ways to improve delivery effectiveness.
