This is a foundational DevOps role. You will design and build the CI/CD pipeline and automation platform the entire engineering team runs on. We are an AI-augmented team. A core part of this role is building the infrastructure that runs our AI agents: Claude-powered code review, test generation, and documentation agents that run as GitHub Actions workflows on every pull request. What you will do: Design and build our GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline from scratch: lint, test, scan, AI review, deploy Configure branch protection and a staging to production promotion strategy Integrate SonarCloud as a blocking quality gate Build the infrastructure for our AI agents (GitHub Actions workflows, Anthropic API integration, PR automation) Manage Netlify deployment configuration: preview deploys, production deploys, rollback automation Set up monitoring, alerting, and incident tooling (Datadog, Grafana) Manage secrets, environment variables, and access controls across all environments Document infrastructure and runbooks for the team Your Skills and Experience Must have: 3+ years in DevOps or platform engineering Strong GitHub Actions experience (workflow authoring, custom actions, matrix builds) JAMstack hosting experience: Netlify, Vercel, or Cloudflare Pages Comfortable scripting in Node.js and/or Python, plus Bash Experience integrating third-party APIs into CI/CD pipelines Experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI) Familiarity with static analysis tools (SonarCloud or similar) Secrets management and environment configuration experience Good written English for a remote-first, distributed team Nice to have: Containerisation (Docker) and infrastructure as code (Terraform) Observability tooling (Datadog, Grafana) Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Why You'll Love Working Here Build the platform, don't just maintain it: this is a from-scratch build with real ownership Work at the edge of DevOps and AI: you will ship the infrastructure that runs our AI agents Fully remote with flexible hours Direct line to engineering leadership; your architecture decisions stick Modern stack: GitHub Actions, Netlify, Vercel, SonarCloud, Datadog, Anthropic Claude
