QA Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive QA Engineer ( Automation & Manual) to join our cross-functional delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining test strategies, executing functional and regression tests, and expanding automated test suites to ensure high product quality.You will work closely with developers, product managers, and release engineers in an Agile environment to build, maintain, and integrate test automation into our modern CI/CD delivery pipeline.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & Testing: Design, execute, and maintain test scenarios covering functional, integration, system, smoke, regression, and exploratory testing.Test Automation: Build, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using modern frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.API Testing: Validate backend services and REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or command-line utilities.Defect Management & Reporting: Identify, log, and track software defects; clearly articulate quality risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/SAFe), refine requirements, and advocate for quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle.Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest process enhancements, test coverage improvements, and quality standards across the team.Requirements & QualificationsMust-Have:Professional Experience: Proven track record as a QA Tester, QA Engineer, or Test Automation Engineer in a commercial software development environment.Automation & Scripting: Hands-on experience with at least one test automation framework and coding/scripting ability in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.API & Testing Mastery: Strong understanding of core QA methodologies and hands-on experience testing REST APIs (Postman, Swagger, or similar).CI/CD & Version Control: Solid knowledge of Git and experience integrating automated test runs into CI/CD pipelines.Agile Setup: Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) working in cross-functional delivery teams.Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills in English, with a structured approach to problem-solving.Nice-to-Have:Experience working with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP).Exposure to performance, load, or security testing tools.Background working in regulated or highly controlled environments (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, Pharma).Hands-on experience with test management and tracking tools like Jira / Xray / Zephyr.
