Project Managers

We believe that when the right connections are made, amazing things can happen. We are working on two fixed term Senior Project Manager opportunities based in Wellington. You’ll support delivery across two different portfolios; Payments and Health. You will be leading complex business and technology initiatives that improve how services are commissioned, delivered and paid for. The work ranges from business readiness and process change through to the design, development and implementation of modern, cloud-based systems. As a Project Manager, you’ll bring structure and clarity to a complex portfolio of work. You’ll connect people, priorities and outcomes across the two different areas of Payments and Health, working closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, delivery teams, business leaders, technical specialists, partners and vendors. Define and manage scope, objectives, success measures, milestones and integrated delivery plans. Translate strategic priorities and roadmaps into clear deliverables, measurable progress and tangible business value. Coordinate delivery across multiple initiatives, teams and stakeholders from requirements gathering through to implementation. Manage timelines, budgets, resources, risks, issues and dependencies to support successful delivery. Establish effective governance, executive reporting, decision papers and status updates. Build strong relationships with internal and external partners and vendors, influencing outcomes without direct authority. Facilitate planning and delivery rhythms that drive decisions, alignment and accountability. Support business readiness, organisational change and the adoption of improved digital and self-service services. As a result, you must have experience in: Delivering complex business, technology or transformation initiatives in a structured project management environment. For the Payments role, proven experience working in a Payments project or environment Have experience operating across multiple concurrent initiatives at project, programme, portfolio or product-team level. Bring strong planning, governance, financial management, risk management and delivery oversight capability. Can work effectively across business and technical teams and rapidly understand new challenges, priorities and stakeholder needs. Skilled at managing competing priorities, interdependencies and delivery challenges. Communicate clearly, facilitate effectively and build trusted relationships at all levels. Demonstrate sound judgement, resilience, initiative and strong organisational discipline. Can influence, align and enable diverse teams without relying on direct authority.
