Program Analyst

Salary: $113,000 - 188,000 per year Requirements: We require an active and maintained Secret federal or DoD security clearance. We ask for a bachelors degree in data science, public policy, international affairs, or a related field, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience. We look for at least three years of experience in data analysis, visualization, or program evaluation, preferably with federal agencies. We need experience using Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and other analysis or visualization tools; familiarity with SQL is preferred. We require experience turning program and performance data into clear analytical products, dashboards, and executive-level reporting. Professional certifications or formal training in data analytics or visualization, such as Power BI or Tableau, are desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred. Prior experience creating stakeholder training, user guides, or enablement materials to support data literacy and tool adoption is preferred. Background supporting cross-functional teams or interagency coordination, especially where policy, operations, and data intersect, is preferred. Responsibilities: We develop dashboards, visualizations, and executive reporting products that turn complex program and performance information into actionable insight. We analyze trends in programmatic, operational, and policy-related data. We prepare concise analytical narratives and ensure our findings are accessible and aligned with leadership priorities. We coordinate with program managers, subject matter experts, and data stewards to refine requirements, validate metrics, and maintain data quality. We support data literacy and promote analytic best practices across the organization. We contribute to training, documentation, and guidance for stakeholders working with data products. The annual salary range is $113,000 to $188,000, with compensation determined by factors such as skills, experience, training, security clearances, licensure, certifications, and business needs.
