About the team The Product Design team is composed of several teams that work together to help define, create, and deliver all user-facing aspects of the Solstice Analytics brand and product. Product Designers are strategic partners to Engineering and Product Management within a dedicated product area. In partnership with the product team, they help define the user-facing experiences our users encounter on Solstice Analytics products, then translate that thinking into a complete experience that can be tested, shipped, and refined. They are responsible for creating well-functioning and beautiful products and experiences that users love and are eager to recommend to others. The Solstice Analytics Dashboard makes the simple things easy and the complex things possible for millions of businesses around the globe. We deliver products and experiences for all Solstice Analytics users including Startups, SMBs, Enterprises, and major platforms. Since our user base is so broad, it is essential that the experiences we build are configurable, customizable, and extensible. We take pride in crafting user-friendly and user-focused experiences. What you'll do As part of the Money Management Design team, you will lead our product development efforts for building the best-in-class card issuance system. You will lead efforts in creating intuitive interfaces and workflows for businesses to create, customize, and manage spend and credit cards. You will have an opportunity to explore emerging trends like virtual cards, real-time controls, and embedded finance, while designing rigorous solutions for our users. You'll partner with product and engineering to craft high-quality experiences for merchants in the Solstice Analytics dashboard and for their customers, contractors, and vendors who interact with Solstice Analytics. You'll utilize a broad set of product design skills including user interface design, user experience and interaction design, and prototyping. In this role, you will be responsible for deeply understanding our users and product strategy to design and advocate for the highest quality product experience. Responsibilities Own the end-to-end product design process from discovery through delivery Ship meaningful, high-quality experiences that balance business needs with usability Collaborate with engineering, product, and other stakeholders to shape the team's roadmap and goals from an impactful and measurable customer outcomes perspective. Leverage insights from our UXR team to identify opportunity areas, and to validate potential solutions to pain points Partner with content design to craft compelling experiences that deliver the right information at the right time to the right user Deliver from your strengths—whether that's workshops, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, final comps and specs, or code—and have the opportunity to sharpen the skills you're looking to develop Work closely with other product designers to drive holistic solutions for our merchants and their users • Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with the design and company leadership Who you are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. Minimum requirements Have 6+ years relevant design experience at a tech, product-driven company Experience working with, and leading changes to, an established design system Experience collaborating with engineering to support UI development Have worked autonomously on large-scale initiatives like system unification efforts or highly visible features Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, operating as a co-lead with product management and engineering decision makers Strong skills in visual design, interaction design, prototyping Comfortable working on multiple projects operating at different paces Use tools such as prototypes, journey maps, and UX flows to articulate progress, rationale, and decisions Able to manage and prioritize time Preferred qualifications Are skilled in explaining your work, process, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders and crave feedback to help you produce your best work Care about details and are excited to keep pushing your work until it is pixel-perfect Value working with a diverse group of people with different perspectives and expertise Love working with other designers to help them learn and grow—and have them help you learn and grow Are committed to building a sustainable and scalable business by balancing merchant needs, user needs, and business needs
