Job Description Job role: Principal QA Test Engineer Job Location: Bangalore Work mode: Hybrid - 3 Days office Job Description SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES: Cobalt Streamworks is seeking to hire a Test Automation Consultant to join our team. Someone who is experienced and passionate about test automation, and who understands what quality means for a team, organization, and customer. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills in addition to critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You should love to learn and keep pace with new tools and technologies. POSITION & OBJECTIVES: They will: Work closely with other teams, analyse testing processes, and propose improvements. Train Test Engineers and help to spread good practises across the organisation. Be responsible for setting up Test Automation framework for multiple solution deliveries. Apply quality engineering principles throughout Agile product lifecycle. Clearly and effectively communicate with different stakeholders. Produce testing documentation (plans, strategies). Participate in Quality Guild workshops and training sessions to spread the word about Test Automation Best Practices. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: (to be specified for each position) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or similarly related field. Proficiency in English is a must 5+ years of professional Test Automation Engineer experience. Comfortable working in a fast paced and challenging environment. Strong problem-solving ability. BDD & ATDD experience. Experience testing Web Services: RESTFul, SOAP. Experience with JavaScript, C#, TypeScript. Familiar with GIT, Selenium Web Driver, SoapUI, Postman, Playwright, Azure DevOps. Knowledge of DevOps practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or similarly related field.
